Work really is getting in the way of knitting!

Colors, beautiful colors individually but put them together on the same cotton yarn and you have a completely different look. It's next up on the knit list.

I had to work a conference the other day in Sacramento. It's part of what I do for the "other" job. Early starts, checking on room set up, making sure the LCD projector is working properly, being available to all participants with whatever they need and making sure the conference runs smooth! That's the life of a conference coordinator and I love this work.

But, darn it, it gets in the way of my knitting!

I didn't get home until 8:30 that night and boy was I tired. I sat on the couch for a few moments, collecting my thoughts from the day and the long drive home. And then I realized that I didn't knit at all! Not at all!

Im almost done with the red, purple, pink, blue shawlette. If I had the energy, I would have finished last night but the need for sleep won last night!

So beautiful black, brown, pink, cream yarn...you'll have to wait for one more day until I start working with you!
