I first saw the Honey Cowl in Bluebird Yarns. I fell in love with the squishieness of the cowl, the rolled edge and the feel! And the sample was in my favorite color, Turquoise. I knew I had to try it.
It’s amazing what happens when you journal. I’ve never journaled before. I tried when I was younger, but my thoughts went too fast for my fingers. So I gave up. But now it seems to be different. It seems to be the right time.

In our little Indian Valley, tucked away in North Eastern California in Plumas County, each year around my birthday we have the Valley Wide garage sale. And although when I was younger and I hated garage sales, I love them now. It’s the hunt, searching for that unexpected find!
Sometimes I simply want to sit and knit. When I have too much to do at work, I’ll spend five minutes, and knit a couple of rows and my workday stress’ disappear. But sshhh…don’t tell my co-workers.
It’s amazing to me, creativity that is. See, I’m a Taurus, I like to keep things organized, neat and tidy. It’s just my nature. When I have an event to organize, I’ll sit and think thru all the steps necessary to make this event successful.
