I love this photo. A little beaten, a little tattered but still so beautiful. Just the way Mother Nature intended. Its been wet and wild around here. This is the road home...but I'll need my boat to get me there! We've been experiencing some of the most incredible rain lately, which in turn swells the rivers and streams and when they are full to capacity...well...water has to go somewhere. I'm so glad we live on a hill! It was raining so hard the other day while I walked to the store, that I felt the thumps of the raindrop on my head! As if someone was hitting my head with a stick! But thru all the rain, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful, bright, and vibrant the colors are around me. It seems as if the plants have changed their colors to become more vibrant and strong! Look at how beautiful the colors are! Who knew "muted tones" could be so vibrant! Among all the muck and mire of the torrential rains, life is starting to pop up. Signs of spring (I know, it's too early) are showing! Look at how strong the red of the new leaves are. Simply beautiful!
My Faithful Sherpa and I are pushing hard to go home to Greenville today. I don't want to miss Stitching Together tomorrow morning! Please be sure to check Josefina Fine Knits Facebook page for updates on our travels home! https://www.facebook.com/Josefina-Fine-Knits-614262875280589/ Stay dry, my friends, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Even if it is a little wet!
