"How do they do that," my Faithful Sherpa said as we watched The Voice. What sing? I asked. "No have the time to learn how to play the guitar and sing at the same time." Well babe, It's their passion. I never really thought about knitting as being my passion, I thought of it more as an obsession! I'm passionate about a lot of things... I love spending time in the garden wandering, pruning, deadheading, watering. I love volunteering, spending time with big kids and small during Gold Digger Days in Greenville, CA (bit.ly/2nPO5s4). But when my Faithful Sherpa talked about finding a passion, I couldn't help but jump to knitting! I"m constantly thinking about knitting! I can see knitting in everything! A broken rib pattern in the rafters of the Olsen Barn in Chester (bit.ly/2nE7Nqv). A herringbone pattern in the recently discovered Roman Villa in England (cnn.it/1qzH9Ns) Or even a shawl with fringe from the reflections of the sun inside the boat. And I'm constantly knitting. . .and knitting everywhere. On the plane as we fly to Denver for our Niece's wedding, at my Mom's house while watching The Pioneer Woman, or at the car wash while waiting for my car. Even while having my hair cut (bit.ly/2ofwj2F) or during a pedicure (bit.ly/2mURFNS). "What are you doing?" Sydney said while I took a photo of my toes socking in the warm water. Me, oh nothing. . .really. . .just knitting!
Passion or Obsession, whatever you call it, it's something that I can't stop doing!
