I can just hear Sydney now, "Eva, why didn't you wear gloves!"
And I was right. This is Sydney, and as you can see from this photo, I"m in trouble!
"But Sydney, my hands get hot in gloves!"
"But Sydney, I can't hold my tools in gloves!"
"But Sydney, I couldn't help it!'
No matter what excuse I gave, I still got scolded. But the trailer really needed to be reorganized! It's unfortunate that my manicure always pays the price!
I was at the Almanor Peninsula Club Art Show this past weekend. It was a beautiful day, and everyone was in a great mood! I love this show, all my friends were here!
I knew I had to get ready for this show, and pack the truck. But we got home late and I was tired from the drive. So I decided to bring only half of my booth. My reasoning was, I was only there for 1 day and besides, I wouldn't be able to park the trailer anywhere.
So my Faithful Sherpa helped me load two trunks, Aunt Fern, the Octopus and my check out stand into his truck, at 11:00 pm!.
It was perfect weather, not too hot, certainty not like Sausalito! It was 104 degrees on Friday in Sausalito!
I was pooped at the end of the Almanor Peninsula show, and I was certainty too tired to unpack the truck when we got home that night.
"I'll clear everything out of your truck tomorrow, I promise!'
It rained on us when we packed up from our last show. And with rain, came mud in the trailer! So I spent last Sunday not only unloading my Faithful Sherpa's truck, but unloading everything from my trailer, and cleaning out the dirt. It felt so good to get all that mud out of the trailer!
When I packed the truck for the Almanor Peninsula Art Show, I pulled a little from one truck and a little from the other, and then left everything in the trailer in a heap of mess! I hate feeling discombobulated! (I love that word!). After thoroughly cleaning the trailer, I spent the rest of the afternoon repacking my booth!
And now I'm ready!
Look out High Hill Ranch! We're coming your way this weekend!
