It really should be called "Mud Season"

Oh how I wish Spring would arrive. But, alas, I have to be patient.
As I look out my office window, I can see that it's starting to snow on top of Keddie Ridge. I was hoping we were done with the snow, but Mother Nature has reminded us that the "First Day of Spring," doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be beautiful, or warm, or even sunny.

What it does mean is mud, lots and lots of mud. But at least we have less snow than last month and you can now start to see the chair that's been buried!

Even though it's been muddy, My Faithful Sherpa, Lil Miss Zuzu and I have been outside in the garden every day after work for the past week, cleaning up. Raking mostly. And yes, Lil MIss Zuzu does "help" by chasing after the rake while I'm using it!

Spring is also a time I spend looking thru patterns trying to catch some inspiration for new work.

Perfect Knitted Poncho, by ToBeStudio
Look at how beautiful this poncho is. Light, ethereal, soft. It's the perfect wrap to wear when the air has just a little crispness to it. You can purchase the pattern at ToBeStudio's etsy shop here: etsy.me/2WnAgiR

And look at how amazing this wrap is. It's by Jennifer Weissman and you can find out more information on both Jennifer and the pattern here: bit.ly/2TqwAuF

So, while I'm waiting for the snow to melt, waiting until I can actually plant my garden, I'll keep dreaming as I flip thru past garden photos,

And I'll be dreaming as I flip thru photos of beautifully knit garments, gathering inspiration for my 2019 inventory.

Happy Spring, my friends.
