Come join us tonight for knit night! Click for more details. . .
Knit Night, 111 Crescent Street, in beautiful downtown Greenville, CA. 4:30 - 7:00 pm.

And on the menu tonight. . .sauteed chicken with veggies and rice.

I love knit night! It's a time for like minded. . .ok. . .wait. . .lets just call it as we are. . .crazy yarn people to get together and knit. It's a time to build relationships, all while enjoying our craft!

And let me tell you about some of the relationships I've built.

When we lived in Sausalito, our knitting group would get together for Knit Night at the Spinnaker restaurant. It was such a wonderful way to knit, in a beautiful restaurant, sipping white wine, while enjoying the view of the San Francisco Bay.  In the winter, we would move over to the bookstore in Corte Madera, because the Spinnaker Restaurant would get so dark, that we'd have to wear lights around our neck just to see the stitches!

"Don't go," the Manager on Duty would say, "we'll bring in lamps for you!"

We all originally met at Bluebird Yarns in Sausalito.

And then we continued our Thursday night Knit Night tradition after Bluebirds closed, Not all of us, but most of us.

Knit Night has always been a time to discuss knitting, to talk thru problems with our projects or in our lives, or just simply chat. It's a time to help each other when we have troubles, like when Maggie had hurt her shoulder and Deborah McFarland showed us acupressure points to keep our muscles relaxed while knitting and we talked about stretches we can do to help our sore fingers.

By the way, there's still room for you to join us for the Art of Self-Care for the Artisan, workshop July 28 10:00 - 12;00 noon. Here's the info:

We all listened in as she explained why his stitches looked a little funny.

I miss my goofy fiber friends from Sausalito!

But I've built so many wonderful relationships here in Greenville! You never know which fiber friends will stop by on Thursday afternoons.

But I do know that there will always be great conversations, and lots and lots of fun!!!

Be sure to stop by on Thursdays from 4:30 - 7:00 pm. We always have food, there's always knitting, and most importantly, there's always laughter
