No knitting here, but still crafting! Gold Digger Days in Greenville, CA is this weekend! It's always so much fun, hot but a lot of fun! First, here is where you can find more information on this weekend's event: http://www.seecalifornia.com/festivals/greenville-gold-digger-festival.html Each year, on the third weekend of July, my Faithful Sherpa and I run the "kids corner" for Gold Digger Days. We have several activities that the kids can come over and do, Bird House Painting, Cowboy Tic-Tac-Toe, Gold Miners Toss and Face painting. It's one of the ways we give back to our fantastic community! My Faithful Sherpa always runs the Bird House Painting! He and his friend, Dan, made 40 bird houses last weekend, and they are loaded in the truck ready for the kids to paint! I love how beautiful and creative the kids are! Pure joy goes into each birdhouse! And I run the Face Painting. Yup, kids of all ages come to get their faces painted! Normally
If you are looking for a fun, small town event to go to this weekend, come on up to Greenville, in Plumas County! I'd love to see you!
