Gradient yarn colors, it's the latest in yarn designs. They're beautiful, they're self striping, and they make me want to eat cupcakes!

I mentioned to my Stitching Together group last Saturday, that Joanne Fabrics is having a sale on their "Premier Yarns Sweet Rolls." 3 for $10! It's a great deal! You can knit two hats with leftover yarn for a cowl later. It's made from soft acrylic, which is great for kids hats! And people like me who tend to take off my hat and drop it. . .everywhere. . .which causes me to do lots of laundry!

I mentioned this to the group because, well, Greenville, CA is pretty remote, and we certainty don't have a Joanne Fabrics within driving distance. But I knew that this week I would be near one and could pick up some for anyone. In other words, I'd be their yarn mule!

"Can you pick up somefor me?" Kathy asked. "I want to make something special for my family for Christmas." I love a person who plans!

So, yesterday, I stopped by Joanne Fabrics to take some photos. They had a big rack of these yarns with lots of colors to choose from.

I must have been very, very hungry because I kept looking at these "Sweet Rolls" and thinking about cupcakes!

Nice yummy chocolate cupcakes with beautiful butter cream frosting, with sprinkles and flowers decorated on the tops in a variety of colors! Don't they look delicious!

Other yarn companies have their own version. Knit Picks has "Stoll Gradient" available. It's made from Superwash Merino Wool and Nylon. bit.ly/2odUdLd. And they come in such beautiful color combinations!

And Freia Fine Handpaints offers their gradient yarns spun with merino and silk. I haven't used this yarn yet, but I would imagine it would be super soft, and warm! It's on my knit list! bit.ly/2ngOt3X
But no matter who spins the yarn, they still all make me want cupcakes!

Met you in Menlo park. Looking for the yarn necklaces on your site. I have the 2 canes for walking and admired the colorful yarn mix. Thank you

Ron, it was so nice meeting you yesterday.

Currently my necklaces are offline until after the Menlo Park show ends. I'll put the necklaces I have available back online next weekend.

Thank you!
