We had a near disaster this morning, during breakfast. I'm so glad that my Faithful Sherpa came thru again!
I'm a spoiled wife.
There, I said it outloud!
And what makes me such a spoiled wife? Well, each morning, my wonderful husband, aka, Faithful Sherpa, makes me coffee and breakfast. I'm so lucky! He's such a wonderful man!
Last night, we decided we wanted burgers for dinner. "But lets get them to go," I asked. So we hopped into my Faithful Sherpa's new truck, drove up the highway to In n' Out Burger and made our way up to the restaurant. (they don't have drive thru at this location.)
But the line was waaay too long, it literally was out the door!
So, we hopped into the truck, and headed back home. "We have french bread and cheese at home," I mentioned. "Lets just stop by 7/11 and grab a beer and we'll be set. Do we need anything else?" I asked as I hopped out of the truck. I stood outside the truck as we thought for a moment, trying to think of anything else we needed. Nope, nothing.
This morning, as I as just getting out of bed, I heard my Faithful Sherpa say "oh no! We're out of coffee!" Wait, what, it's Monday morning, I don't want to be out of coffee on a Monday morning!
I can't believe that both of us forgot coffee the night before when we were at the store!.
As I was taking my shower, I heard a bunch of rustling around in the galley. Cabinet doors opening and closing.
"It was all the way in the back of the cabinet" he said!
Thank you, my wonderful Faithful Sherpa, for getting down on your hands and knees, digging thru the cabinets to find the the very last package of coffee. You've taken a bleak morning, and turned into something wonderful!
