There were some flying fingers at Knit Night last Monday. Smokin fast knitting happening! I wasn't sure how our new Knit Night was going to be. I've been so used to having Knit Night on Thursday Nights for the past 4 years. My Faithful Sherpa was used to that time slot as well. But sometimes, it's good to change things up, bring some excitement into your system! Our new Knit Night is on Mondays from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (winter) and 5:00 pm-7:30 p.m. (spring/summer/fall). You're welcome to join us at any time, with any project! We've had spinners, knitters, crocheting, and cross stitch! I love taking photos of people's hands while knitting. I don't know why. . .well I guess it's because you can see work in progress. You can also see how people hold their knitting needles. That fascinates me, it's so different for each person! Watching rainstorms move thru the sky fascinates me too. Just thought you would want a know a little more about how my brain works! Some people knit so quickly that's it's just a blur of fingers moving around. Others move along steadily as they cast on a new project. And sometimes we just have to stop and take a break. . .let our fingers have a rest for a moment. Now these fingers have been really flying!
Look at the intricacy of this new sweater. "The pattern calls for it to be cropped, but I wanted it longer. So I added a couple of inches to the bottom, making up the middle row, adding another row with the XIIII and finishing it off with the bottom row." What an amazing sweater! Josefina Fine Knits Knit Night is on Mondays from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (winter) and 5:00 pm-7:30 p.m. (spring/summer/fall), 111 Crescent Street, Greenville, CA next to the Sheriff Station. Join us if you can!
