A shared interested or passion, a shared love for our craft, and most importantly friendship, it's what knitting circles are all about. I love meeting my friends for our knitting circle on Thursday nights in Corte Madera. But it's made me completely miss my friends at Stitching Together in Greenville! This weekend will be the second weekend I have to miss Stitching Together in Greenville. It was a "planned outage" of sorts. The Nephew turns 7 and his birthday party is this weekend. But last weekend I was too sick to go, I tried, oh how I tried, to get to Stitching Together in Greenville. "We can make it a quick drive up to the house," I gold my Faithful Sherpa. "I'll do all the driving," I pleaded. "Babe, you're too sick. You can't get out of bed, let alone drive to the house." He was right, but I still wanted to go. I kept telling him that I didn't want to be one of those people who starts something, then after a couple of weeks, stops because they didn't want to do it anymore. It's not me, I'm consistent, you can tell by my stitches! But I feel so much better now that I've rested! And my knitting friends in Greenville are ok with starting Stitching Together on March 4th. "Everyone couldn't drive around anyways, everything was flooded." he said. So, my circle of friends, my Stitching Together in Greenville group, we will get together on Saturday March 4th to celebrate knitting, and crocheting, and fiber in general! And I'll be excited to see how far you've all come on your projects. Excited to see what you've created in the past two weeks!
But most importantly, excited to see my friends again!
