I love knitting linen stitch shawls!
The stitch pattern is so rhythmic, knitting needles and yarn traveling across the knitting needles, fingers swishing back and forth carrying the yarn with it. The results...a beautiful light weight hand knit shawl / wrap which mimics linen created using super wash merino wool.
I’ve been trying to think of a good description for the yarn color and the only thing I can think of is a sunrise along the Sausalito waterfront. The type of amazing sunrise that looks so fake but is real. The type of sunrise that intensifies just before it fades into daylight. Mother Natures colorway: Reds, browns, orange, with a bit of blues and whites.
