This past weekend my little town of Greenville held its crab feed. Typically it's the biggest event and fundraiser for the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. But it almost didn't happen.
I love this photo. A little beaten, a little tattered but still so beautiful. Just the way Mother Nature intended.
I"m always telling everyone when you knit lace, you need to pay close attention. It's so easy to make one small mistake while being distracted by a glass of wine or the TV. But did I listen to myself? No!
I love this Infinity Scarf "Thebes." It has all of my winter memories knitted right into it. All the laughter, all the fun, all the scenery out my car window, everything is mixed in.
Its so much fun hanging out with people who love fiber arts as much as I do! And it's so much fun watching someone learn to knit and really get it!!
A couple of months back I knit a new vest. Black and sparkly gray colors with a beautiful teal stripe down the back. But I had troubles finding the perfect ribbon! But yesterday I hit the jackpot!
